The filter cartridge used for the Active noise filter is made of polyester and can be cleaned with solvents, gasoline and compressed air.
This cartridge has a particle filtration of more than 10 µm (10 thousandths of a millimeter) and is rated as the best compromise between air flow and air cleaning.
The value of 10µm also allows to filter the impurities produced by the front braking system: it is generally between 15µm and 30µm and we know that these impurities are very aggressive with the internal parts of the engine.
The new cartridge has a reed barrier to modify the airflow and reduce turbulence inside the airbox.
The new intake pipes have better Venturi effect with better performance.
