The Bengio Bumper V.2020 rib protector with dorsal More is a reference in the world of karting for the protection and comfort of the driver. Designed to meet the requirements of competition and leisure, it offers complete protection of the rib cage and back thanks to high quality technical design and materials.

Coloured and modern, this rib protector is available in random colors according to arrival. Each room is Handmade in triple layer of fiberglass with a anti-splash system, ensuring strength, safety and durability. The use of efficient and safer materials is one of the priorities of the Bengio brand.

Protection and design

Bumper does not only protect the ribs. Its enveloping shape surrounds much of the chest cage, which also protects the pilot in the event of a frontal impact, especially against the steering wheel.

The outer shell consists of three layers of intersected fibreglass, for a total thickness of about 3 mm. This design provides the flexibility necessary to absorb shocks while ensuring excellent resistance and high anti-explosion power.

Inside, a high density foam 100 kg/m2 and 8 mm thick considerably improves comfort by absorbing the vibrations of the kart while maintaining the steering sensations.

Sleep Plus

The version Sleep Plus incorporates additional back protection. This dorsal brings more safety and comfort for the spine, particularly noticeable during long sessions or in competition.

Adjustment and ergonomics

Sound ergonomic design allows precise adjustment thanks to wide high performance Velcro straps located at the shoulders and waist. This system ensures optimal maintenance and easily adapts to different morphologies.

Each Bumper rib protector is assembled and hand adjusted, ensuring a high level of finish and quality.
