RACING PLATELETS RACING
The goal is to bring the MFK brake pads to maximum stroke temperatures, but to do so slowly (break-in is too fast resulting in icing).
This is done by a series of laps where maximum speeds can be achieved, but using a lower brake pressure (the pilot must brake earlier). It is important that pads can cool after break-in and before the race.
The pads are now ready for the race.
Before the race, during the warm-up lap, warm up the pads which will allow maximum efficiency from the first braking.
