(4) BTR M6x12 hub clutch Rotax
BTR M6 x 12 Origin Builder Origin - Rotax Clutch Hub Do no compromise on the safety of your transmission. This BTR screw (with six sides hollow) m6x12 is a piece of origin Rotax, designed to support the extreme mechanical stresses of the clutch. Its specific resistance class guarantees a perfect hold of the pinion on the hub, even in intensive race conditions.
M6x12 Fixing Screw Origin Rotax
The BTR M6x12 screw is the essential link element to secure your gear to the clutch hub. Use the original hardware, it is the assurance of a perfectly calibrated steel alloy to not break under the effort.
Why privilege the original screw Rotax ?
-
Shear resistance: Unlike standard hardware screws, this screw is treated to support shocks when times of torque.
-
Footprint Sixtics accurate: The imprint of the key is machined precisely to prevent the key from ripe (Foire) during frequent disassemblies.
-
High precision thread: Fits perfectly in the original bell tapping without creating game.
Compatibility:
-
Rotax 125 max, junior, mini, micro
-
Rotax 125 DD2
-
Adapts on all standard clutch hubs Rotax.
? Michel's Tip (Magickart):
"It's the small screw that can make you lose a race! If it is loosening or breaking, the pinion takes from the game and you will destroy your chain in two rounds.
My Pro Council: Use systematically from Fillet brake (Loctite blue type) on the thread before screwing. A small point is enough to prevent vibrations from doing their job.
The secret: Change these screws as soon as the BTR imprint begins to be marked. Nothing is more frustrating than having to get the drill out to extract a loaf up on a hub! "
?️ Tuto: How to mount your clutch hub screws?
-
Preparation: Clean the tapped holes of the hub (bell) with a degreaser (brake cleaner) to remove any trace of oil.
-
Positioning: Place the pinion on the hub aligning the holes.
-
Brake net: Remove a medium net brake drop on the end of each M6x12 screw.
-
Star tightening: If you have multiple screws, tighten them gradually alternately so that the pinion is perfectly flat-plated.
-
Tightening torque: Do not tighten as a deaf, the recommended torque is about 10 nm.
-
Verification: Make sure that no screw head is abnormal, which could hinder the passage of the chain.
We are good on the hardware? Do you have other pieces of the clutch or change category?
